I recently purchased several translations for a personal project. I came across this one about a month ago and purchased it on a whim, having heard of Adil Salahi because of previous works and decided to give it a shot.
I have to say, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. So many translations use Shakespearean language that conveys the majesty of Allah’s words, but unfortunately distances us from the actual message. This translation is so much more successful in conveying tone, emotion, and nuance. It makes for a deeper and more reflective reading.
This helped me connect with the words so much more than I ever have before. I couldn’t recommend this translation more highly.
